A short animation by Torulf Greek illustrates the scale of various fusion reactors.

The woman holding the DPF looks like lady liberty. 

Please note, the DPF is not just the electrodes.  The capacitor banks surrounding it take up some space.  As you see from these pictures, you’ll need a room for it.

Same caveat applies to the Polywell. That’s just the reaction chamber; the beam generators and magnets’ power sources are also required for the basic setup. (The Polywell chamber ‘receives’ 8 high-power beta and ion beams directed into the chamber.)
