Reprinted from the LPPX October 17, 2011 Report.
Eric Lerner shared LPP’s unique perspective on innovation October 4th at the New Jersey Tech Council’s Clean Tech Summit at Princeton Plasma Physics Lab. Eric was invited to speak on the panel “Life After Fukushima—What happens after a ‘Black Swan’ event? What is the impact of innovative technologies?” The potential for a “Boron Swan” aneutronic fusion breakthrough in the next year was an optimistic contrast to the decades-long timeline offered by the mainline fusion program. You can watch the well-received remarks on the Focus Fusion Society’s YouTube channel here.
