(1) CommentsThis video explains the tokamak and ITER very well. Thanks to Derek for pointing it out.
As you know, we’d suggest a different ending to the story, one in which more possibilities are hinted at. ITER is the stagecoach of fusion. The movie characters here could wrap up the story by hinting that by 2100, innovation occurs to take people beyond ITER, beyond deuterium tritium fuel, toward advanced fusion fuels such as pB11.
The DPF plot twist - we’ll have to save it for the sequel.

For a more in depth discussion, start a thread in the forums.Yeah, I saw this a couple of years ago when it first came out. I found it condescending, misleading, and irritating. But that’s probably because I don’t think ITER has a snowball’s of succeeding.
Once FF is on the scene, I think the billion$$ that governments are funding this dead end with will disappear with a large sucking sound.
