Focus Fusion Society Introduces the Fusion Energy League

As you may know, LPP is making steady, exciting progress with Focus Fusion technology.  Meanwhile, private financing has been found for some promising fusion ventures (Tri-Alpha, General Fusion). Unfortunately, despite these advances in fusion, US government funding for fusion is being drastically cut and fusion alternatives are at risk of being defunded entirely.

In this time of mixed vulnerability and opportunity for fusion, we want to take the enthusiasm from FFS and extend it to the horizon of the larger fusion community. We want a platform from which it is easy to develop coalitions and seek the benefits of diverse fusion associations, while keeping the Focus Fusion Society focused on Focus Fusion technology.

To that end we’re setting up another organization, the “Fusion Energy League”. Check it out and get involved!
