Assembly Begins
(14) Comments10:00 am Eastern standard time today marks the beginning of assembly of what is to become the most powerful DPF in North America. I have the privilege of being there. I pledge to report on the process every day. This is possible now that I’ve moved to New Jersey. [UPDATE: it will be best to post this sort of thing via twitter. I’ll add to this post later on today. For now - a quick stop at the AT&T store to see why my ancient cel phone doesn’t do short codes (I need to be able to do that if I want to twitter from my phone) and then - off to the lab. [UPDATE: Yes! Phone is set up to tweet directly. Yay!]
LPP’s hours are from 10 to 6 to avoid that crazy New Jersey traffic.
It’s a beautiful day here in New Jersey. Filled with sunshine and promise. Action is so much more interesting than talk.

No twitter content on home page. Beware trusting what you see on your own computer screen will be visible universally. If the source docs/links are on your hard drive, only you can see them unless you are set up as a 24/7 server.
Twitter using computers is a PITA. I can’t even sign up to it because the ReCaptcha fields are blank, and attempting to use the audio link puts me on a site called ‘audio’, some Twitter-using Twit.
Is there any info on why XinPei Lu went back to China?

Yes, Iran to NJ on Emirates air. I didn’t own much. It’s all in storage at my parents house. As to leaving it “behind” - the world is round. Eventually I’ll get back around it. I’m in Orbit - orbit brings me to NJ.
It just seemed more important to be here to make sure fusion gets off the ground before going back and getting arrested for free speech violations. One mission at a time.
What is PITA? Are you unable to see the twitter screen on the home page (not this page)? It’s a flash app. Perhaps you don’t have the latest flash plugin? If flash is the problem, I could embed it as regular html.

I have great interest in this machine and would like to see some more pictures of the work in progress. I wonder how it all looks like.
I see and access the Twitter signup screen fine, but the Recaptcha verification box is empty. There is a link to use audio (meant for those who can’t properly see the words) but it goes to another twitter page.
PITA is an acronym. First two words are “Pain In”.

Your embed on the home page, to work for ANYONE but yourself, must reference (embed from) a public website, not your own computer. All that’s visible to others (non-Rezwan persons) is the Francis Bacon quote.

Brian, I’ve tested the twitter thing on several other computers. It shows up everywhere. Not sure why you’re having problems. None of the source docs are on my hard drive. It’s all on the twitter site. There’s no “audio” link on our embed, either, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to.
Oh, I see. You’re trying to sign up for a twitter account and the captcha is giving you grief. I can’t help there. Perhaps you have a firewall or something? A twitter virus? I don’t know. You’ll have to take that up with the twitter folks.
Per your last comment here - are you squared away? Is the problem fixed?
