Just thought I’d chime in—haven’t seen any more data from the shots in a long time.  Anything interesting coming?

Are you regularly checking the LPP site and FaceBook pages?

Murali’s mid-July June report is still MIA, and there is no substantive info on any activity since about Apr-May, other than tuning shots to work on the switches and camera, etc.  The projected goals had FoFu reaching 100 joules by August 1.  http://focusfusion.org/assets/lppx/graphs/ff1-yield-goal.jpg

Yes.

Plus I thought we made it clear the dates were put in to set up a grid.  It’s about the stages.  Progress is not measured in time, but in action.  And action hinges on factors.

That’s a fine summary, thanks.  Now, if Eric would only get back from vacation and start kicking butt ...   

I’ll settle for resume execution, prove his aces in the hole tp his satisfaction for the final sprint to the fusion line, and so on.  Maybe the visual should look more like a pole vault.

Thanks for the big info-dump, Rezwan—it’s great to be kept up to date, even if most of what is going on right now is more prep work than actual experimentation.
